SAG Rodeo School
Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the ropes or an experienced rider aiming to fine-tune your skills, our Rodeo School offers top-notch instruction in a variety of rodeo events. Located in the heart of Strathmore, Alberta, we provide a safe and supportive environment where students can develop their abilities under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Our program is designed to equip riders with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to excel in the exciting world of rodeo. Join us and take your rodeo journey to the next level!

Arrival & check-in
Students should arrive by 8:30 a.m. on the first day of their clinic for registration and check-in.
Please enter the Strathmore Ag Grounds through Gate 5 and park in the area surrounding the Rodeo Office. We ask that you please keep the area directly in front of the Rodeo Office clear to allow vehicle access in and out throughout the day.
Lunch
Lunch will be provided for students on both days of each clinic.
Family & Spectators
Families are more than welcome to come out and watch! Seating will be available in our infield bleachers throughout the clinics.
Equipment
Please bring your own equipment for your event. A CSA-approved helmet with a mask (hockey is fine), a mouthguard, and good solid cowboy boots are a must for the rough stock events.
Saddle Bronc: Chaps, spurs, helmet with facemask, protective vest, bronc saddle, if you have one
Bareback: Chaps, spurs, glove, helmet with facemask, protective vest, bareback rigging, if you have one
Bull Riding: Chaps, spurs, glove, helmet with facemask, flack jacket, bull rope if you have one
Bull Fighting: Good cleats, quality clothing that will not impair quick movement, protective vest and shorts if you have them - FULL*
